BMC PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring 1.0

Installing

Before installing PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring KM in a production environment, BMC recommends that you first install in in a test environment on a limited number of computers and test the installation thoroughly. 

Note

By default, a typical installation configures the PATROL Agent to connect through port 3181.

After installation, refer to Configuring after installation for information about setting up PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring. The following topics describe the methods that you can use to install the PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring KM.
