Memory attempted to page out for project (AttemptedPageOut)
This attribute reports the total memory that the resource capping daemon (rcapd) attempted to page out for a project. This happens when the total RSS of the project exceeds the cap limit. The resource capping daemon attempts to page out some of the resident memory pages to a secondary device in order to bring the total RSS under limits. Paging refers to the act of relocating portions of memory called pages, to or from the physical memory. The resource capping daemon pages out the most infrequently used pages.
This parameter is available only when the RSS cap has been set for the respective project. The RSS cap for a project is controlled by the system resource control, rcap.max-rss. This parameter is deactivated if a project does not have an RSS cap set or the resource capping daemon (rcapd) is not active.
