CollTimeDataGuard Collector (CollTimeDataGuard)

Collects the information about a standby instance's time lag parameters, TransportLag and ApplyLag.

This parameter goes into warn state under the following scenarios:

  • While executing a query from the standby instance, if the collector receives any BMCPOK error, it goes into warn state.
  • While executing a query from the primary instance, if the collector receives any privilege missing error (ORA-00942) or BMCPOK error, then it will go into warn state.

If the collector receives any ORA- or TNS error, while executing a query from the standby instance, the CollTimeDataGuard parameter will remain in the previous state. To notify this connection problem the StandbyStatus parameter will go into the alarm or warn state.

The annotation report for this parameter contains the following information:

HostName:Instance = HostName:InstanceName; CollTimeDataGuard = 1 ; Parameter Status = WARN
from v$archive_dest_status
