Agent configuration variables

The following table lists the PATROL Agent configuration variables used in the BMC PATROL for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager.

Specifies the user account which is used to connect to the host.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/noFqdnVMFilterSet this variable to 1 to filter virtual machines with no FQDN
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/connectionProtocolStores the protocol that is used for connection. 
Set this variable to 1 for HTTP, and 2 for HTTPs connection protocol.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/groupFilterSet this variable to include or exclude groups from monitoring.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/clusterFilterSet this variable to include or exclude clusters from monitoring.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/hostFilterSet this variable to include or exclude hosts from monitoring.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/vmFilterSet this variable to include or exclude virtual machines from monitoring.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/debug

Set this variable to 1 to enable the debug, and set to 0 to disable the debug.

/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/timeoutDefault value of this variable is 5 mins. Set this value in minutes for cmdlet query timeout.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/runSpacesDefault value of this variable is 2:10.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/threadPoolDefault value of this variable is 10.
/SCV/Hosts/<hostname>/reconnectSet this variable to 1 to forcefully reconnect to VMM server.
/SCV/switchTo3x

Set this variable to 1 to use .Net framework 3.5, and set to 0 to use .Net framework 4.0.
