Configuration parameters for retrieving synthetic execution data
When you configure the APM monitoring profile in PATROL for Application Management v10.7.00, you manually configure the AM Configuration monitor type. To do this, fill out the following fields.

If your Execution Plan interval is set to two minutes or less, the first few results may not be visible.
Configuring the AM Configuration monitor type
Field | Instructions |

TrueSight Presentation Server Configuration | |
Host Name | Enter the Presentation Server name or IP address. This is a required field. |
Protocol | Select HTTPS or HTTP. |
Port | Enter a port for the Console. The default value is 443. This is a required field. |
Tenant | Enter the tenant name. The default value is BmcRealm. This is a required field. |
User | Enter the user name. |
Password | Enter the user's password. |
Object instance format | Select ID or Name to configure how object instances are displayed. The default value is ID. The monitor's history is not maintained if you switch between the ID and Name formats. |

Java Home Location | Enter the path to the Java home directory. This must be version 1.7 or above. This is a required field. |
Initial Heap Size (MB) | Initial size of Java heap memory, measured in megabytes. The default is 64 MB. |
Max Heap Size (MB) | Maximum size of Java heap memory, measured in megabytes. The default is 128 MB. |
