Viewing the policies listing
BMC Network Automation is delivered with a set of predefined policies that you can customize to support your network environment and IT practices. You can also create new policies.
To access and view the list of policies
- In the BMC Network Automation console, click the Policies tab, and then select Policies > Policies.
The list of policies is displayed. By default, all policies are in the disabled state. You can enable a policy by clicking the check box in the Actions column.
(Optional): Perform one of the following tasks by using the menu options that are available on the Policies page:
Menu option Description Add Open the Add a Policy page to enter data for a new policy. See Adding or editing a policy. Print View Print the current view. Refresh Update the page with the latest policy information. Help Open the related topic in the BMC Network Automation online technical documentation.
(Optional): Perform one of the following actions on a policy:
Icon Action Description View Open a page that contains the details for the associated policy. Edit Open the Edit a Policy page to make changes to the associated policy. See Adding or editing a policy. Copy Open the Copy a Policy page to make a copy of the associated policy. Delete Delete the associated policy. Enable/Disable Enable or disable the use of the associated policy by the BMC Network Automation system. Only enabled policies will ever trigger.
