Reincluding IP addresses
The following tasks describe how to reinclude a single and multiple excluded IP addresses.
To reinclude an excluded IP address
- Select Admin > IP Address Management > Excluded IP Addresses.
- Identify the excluded IP address that you want to reinclude in the list of excluded IP addresses.
- In the row of the relevant excluded IP address, click Delete
.
- Click OK in the confirmation message.
To reinclude multiple excluded IP addresses
- Select Admin > IP Address Management > Excluded IP Addresses.
- Click the Delete menu option.
- In the Re-include IP Addresses dialog box:
- Enter one or more IP addresses in dotted quad format (for example, 123.45.67.89. Separate multiple addresses by commas, or define a range of IP addresses by entering a hyphen between the starting and ending addresses as shown in the following examples:
To reinclude all the addresses between 192.10.21.1 and 192.10.21.20, the address 192.10.21.30, and all addresses between 192.10.21.40 and 192.10.21.45, you would enter the following addresses:
192.10.21.1 - 192.10.21.20, 192.10.21.30, 192.10.21.40 - 192.10.21.45
To reinclude all the IPv6 addresses between 2001:db8::200 and 2001:db8::210, you would enter the following addresses:
2001:db8::200 - 2001:db8::210 (Optional) Specify exclusion scope inputs for pods and containers. If you do not specify any values, IP addresses are reincluded with GLOBAL scope. Separate multiple exclusion scope values by commas.
For Example:
PodA, PodB, host-vCenter1.domain.comPodContainerA1, ContainerA2, host-vCenter1.domain.comContainerA1
- If the Pods exclusion scope is specified, IP addresses are reincluded for use within the pod address ranges and pod address pools owned by the specified pod.
If the Containers exclusion scope is specified, IP addresses are reincluded for use within the address spaces owned by the specified container.
- Enter one or more IP addresses in dotted quad format (for example, 123.45.67.89. Separate multiple addresses by commas, or define a range of IP addresses by entering a hyphen between the starting and ending addresses as shown in the following examples:
- Click Save.
The specified IP address or addresses are reincluded.
