Managing SNMP manager stations

Change notifications generated by policy actions are forwarded to one or more SNMP managers (for example HP, Micromuse NetCool, Entuity EYE, Ipswitch WhatsUpGold).

For these SNMP managers to receive SNMP notifications from BMC Network Automation, you must add SNMP manager stations. Each managed element in the network, such as devices and nodes uses SNMP to report its status to the central server system (the SNMP manager station) that displays the status to users.
