Managing rule set access rights

You can manage the access rights for rule sets using this option, which allows you to edit the access rights for multiple roles in multiple rule sets

To manage rule set access rights

  1. Open the Manage Rule Set Rights page by navigating to Network > Scripts > Rule Sets, and selecting the Manage Rights menu option. You must have the "Manage Rule Set Rights" system right to access this feature.

  2. In the Rights option, select either Use Default Rights or Use Custom Rights. When you select Custom Rights, you may then choose which rights to modify and how (grant the right, revoke the right, or leave current setting unchanged). You may see inactive or dimmed-out rights, indicating you do not have permission to change that right.
  3. In the Apply to Rule Sets field, select one or more rule sets to apply the selected rights. You will be allowed to select only from rule sets you are allowed to edit.
  4. In the Apply to Roles field, select one or more roles to which you want to apply the rule set rights. You will be able to select only from roles whose rights you are allowed to change.
  5. Click Save to save the changes or Cancel to revert the changes.
