Viewing the remote file servers listing


You can view the remote file servers listing by opening the Remote File Servers page. To open the Remote File Servers page, navigate to Admin > Network Admin > Remote File Servers.

The Remote File Servers page has the following menu options:

Menu option

Description

Add

Add a new remote file server. See Adding-or-editing-a-remote-file-server.

Edit

Edit one or more selected remote file servers. For example, a mass edit may be used to change a common FTP or SCP password.

Print View

Print the user list.

Refresh

Refresh the list.

Help

Display help.

 The following actions can be performed from the Remote File Server page:

Display all the attributes for this remote file server.

Edit

Edit attributes for this remote file server.
The Edit Remote File Server window is displayed. See Adding-or-editing-a-remote-file-server 

Icon_Copy.png

Copy

Copy the attributes of this remote file server to a new remote file server.
The Copy Remote File Server window is displayed for the new remote file server.

Icon_Delete.png

Delete

Delete this remote file server.
You will be prompted to confirm the delete. You cannot delete a remote file server that is currently referenced by a device. You must clear these references manually before the remote file server can be deleted successfully.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
