Web-based client system requirements
Client access to the BMC Network Automation application server UI is achieved by using a web browser that uses dynamic HTML. No client software installation or configuration is required.
The minimum client computer specifications are listed in the following tables:
BMC Network Automation client hardware specifications
Intel x86 or x64
1 GB RAM (recommended)
1024 x 768 minimum
BMC Network Automation client web browser specifications
Microsoft Internet Explorer
All OSs supported by Firefox
1) BMC Network Automation Help pages cannot be loaded if the TLS v1.2 handshaking protocol is used. If your browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, is configured to allow only the TLS v1.2 handshaking protocol, the Help link provided in the BMC Network Automation UI cannot open the corresponding online technical documentation page. The BMC online technical documentation server (docs.bmc.com) does not support the use of the TLS v1.2 handshaking protocol.
Workaround: Access docs.bmc.com using another environment where TLS v1.2 is not being used, and download the content for print or access on a mobile device.
2) When you upgrade from IE 10 to IE 11, ensure that you clear the browser cache.
3) When you use Mozilla Firefox, the pop-up dialog box with the message,
Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs is displayed when you make several similar actions in quick succession. If you select this option, you cannot perform any further action until you refresh the page.
