Managing templates

BMC Network Automation is delivered with predefined templates. Templates are used to provision new devices and implement simple configuration changes based on the exact commands supplied. For example, you can use templates in the following scenarios:

For complex changes (for example, ACL updates) that depend on the current configuration state, BMC recommends using rules. Templates can be imported and created from scratch or from an archived configuration.
