MainView Alarm Management support for CPU-loop and maximum-value detection


You can use MainView Alarm Management to view the alarms that the Loop Check solution automatically creates from the CPU loop check and maximum value check profiles that you define.

MainView Alarm Management includes menu options and views that support CPU loop and maximum value detection.

On the EZALARMS menu, under Alarm Definition, select By Solution Profile

AMDPROF

Lists alarm definitions created by solution profiles

You can view an alarm profile by using hyperlinks in the Profile Alarm Name column or by typing S in the CMD column corresponding to an alarm profile.
The appropriate profile view appears. For example, if you select a CPU loop check alarm profile, the LPCKPL view appears.

You cannot make any changes to an alarm profile from the AMDPROF view.

On the EZALARMS menu, under Alarm Reports, select Current by Solution Profile

Lists current messages issued by solution profile alarms

You can hyperlink from the CurrSev OnsetTim column to see details of an alarm message on the ALARMDET view.

On the EZALARMS menu, under Alarm Reports, select Sum by Solution Profile
