Viewing detailed VSAM information
BMC Data Optimizer Monitor provides the following detailed VSAM information views:
Data Optimizer Monitor detailed VSAM information views
View name | Description |
|---|---|
VSAM Activity | Shows VSAM data set activity for all OPEN VSAM data sets in the selected address space |
VSAM Control Blocks | Shows the addresses (in hexadecimal format) of major VSAM control blocks for all open VSAM data sets in the selected address space |
VSAM Local Shared Resource Pools | Shows LSR pool activity for all currently allocated LSR pools in the selected address spaces |
To access the detailed VSAM information views
Access the detailed VSAM information views in one of the following ways:
Enter line commands on the Data Optimizer Monitor View Selection panel.
Navigate between views by entering commands on the Command line on the detailed information views.
Note
Address spaces that are marked as **SWAP** cannot be viewed.
