Job Optimizer Pipes setting
When setting the Job Optimizer Pipes initialization parameters, the Group name parameter is used for the communication between Control-M and MainView Batch Optimizer components.
Job Optimizer Pipes and Control-M use the group name as a token to communicate with each other. The group name is also used to connect several instances of Job Optimizer Pipes that are running on the same image. For Job Optimizer Pipes to communicate with Control-M or other instances of Job Optimizer Pipes, they must have the same group name. The Group Name value must be the same as the value that is specified for the IOA QNAME that was set during IOA Installation. For more information, see the INCONTROL installation guide.
