Viewing jobs and refreshing job statuses
You can either open the Jobs perspective or open the JES viewer in the Navigation window.
- Open the Jobs perspective or the JES viewer.
To open the Jobs perspective, in the main navigation bar, click the Jobs tab.
If you have not already created a job filter, you need to create a job filter (see Filtering-jobs-that-are-displayed).
The Jobs perspective (Figure 1) is displayed.

You can open the JES viewer from various places in the console. For example, you can click JES Viewer in the Workflow Status window.
The JES Viewer window (Figure 2) is displayed. Because the default is to list all jobs that were submitted from your TSO user ID, you might have to wait a few seconds for the JES viewer to be populated.

- To display the most current information that is logged to JES by refreshing information that is displayed, in the Jobs perspective in the JES viewer, click
. In the JES viewer, click Refresh Job Status.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
