March 01, 2021 enhancements

New function for advanced enrichment and time-based enrichment

You can now use the StringMatch function while creating advanced enrichment and time-based enrichment policies. For more information, see Functions for advanced enrichment.

Slots for enrichment

The following slots are now available for enrichment.

  • object
  • object_class
  • _repeat_count

January 15, 2021 enhancements

Support for copying alarm policies

You can now copy existing alarm policies and edit them to create new policies quickly. For more information, see Configuring alarm policies.

Support for enabling or disabling alarm policies

You can now enable or disable an alarm policy while creating it. Optionally, you can enable or disable a policy any time after creating it from the Alarm Policies page. For more information, see Configuring alarm policies.

Support for setting alarm policy precedence

You can now set alarm policy precedence to control the alarm generation conditions for conflicting or overlapping configurations defined between two or more alarm policies. For more information, see Alarm policies.

Support for defining multiple conditions for selecting multiple instances in alarm policies

You can now define multiple conditions using parameters such as agent tag name, hostname, instance name, port, etc. when you select multiple instances while creating alarm policies. For more information, see Configuring alarm policies.

Support for copying policies and groups

You can now copy existing blackout policies, event policies, or groups and edit them to create new policies or groups quickly. For more information, see:

Support for running PSL commands without host credentials

You can now run PSL commands on Agent Query Tool without entering host credentials if you are an administrator or a user with the manage_aqt_authentication permission. For more information, see Working with agents.

Support for out-of-the-box event policy templates

You can now use out-of-the-box policy templates with predefined event selection criteria to process events and set up routine event-management actions. For more information, see Event policies.


December 04, 2020 enhancements

Support for agent tags

You can now use agent tags while defining an alarm policy selection criteria. You can filter host computers based on the agent tag names. The following example defines an alarm policy that will be applied only to host computers with the production agent tag name. For more information, see Configuring alarm policies.


Support for specifying three-digit time values

You can now use values up to three digits for specifying time while defining an alarm policy selection criteria. For example, 120 min.
