zIIP Processor option
DATA ACCELERATOR Compression Non-VSAM data set processing allows utilization of the System z Integrated Information Processor (zIIP) for the compression engine interface.
zIIP processing off-loads work from the mainframe’s CP. The zIIP can be enabled and disabled in the Data Set and Program registration panels, Batch Utility, or by global commands.

JOB Step Overrides | DAC$ZIIP - overrides all data sets. DAC@ZIIP - overrides data sets under the DDname. |
