Set preference to retrieve data

On the Cloud Security dashboard, you can now mark a specific interval to fetch data as favorite, for example, last 7 days or last 14 days. For all the subsequent logins to Cloud Security, data is fetched according to the selected favorite interval. For details, see Navigating the Dashboard.

API to fetch the license usage count

You can use the Get license usage details API to retrieve the count of cloud resources that use the product license. For more information, see Get license usage details.

Restricted access for users

Access to the BMC Helix Cloud Security dashboard is now restricted for any new user that you create in BMC Helix Portal. Therefore, when this user launches BMC Helix Cloud Security from BMC Helix Portal, a message about forbidden access is displayed. To access the BMC Helix Cloud Security dashboard and view data, a tenant administrator must assign the required role to the user. For more information, see Managing users.

Total evaluations on the dashboard

You can now view the compliant, non-compliant, and evaluations that are in an indeterminate state in the Total Evaluations widget on the dashboard. You can filter this data using any of the filters available on the dashboard.

BMC Azure VM RSCD Discovery 1.1.0 policy renamed to BMC Azure VM RSCD Discovery 1.2.0

The BMC Azure VM RSCD Discovery 1.1.0 policy for the Microsoft Azure on-premises or cloud connectors is now renamed to BMC Azure VM RSCD Discovery 1.2.0. If you are using an earlier version of this policy, import the policy and map it to the Microsoft Azure connector again. The SmartHub parameter for Microsoft Azure on-premises or cloud connectors also supports IPv6 Azure virtual machines compliance and remediation.

Updated policy and additional parameters for Microsoft Azure

The latest version of the BMC Azure VM RSCD Discovery policy is now available with the name, BMC Azure VM RSCD Discovery 1.1.0. If you are using an earlier version of this policy, import the policy and map it to the Microsoft Azure on-premises or cloud connector again. The older version is still available and can be used in case you run into problems with the new policy. 

The following parameters are added to the Check for AZURE VM managed by TSSA rule in the new policy:

  • Enroll Interval Min
  • Enroll As
  • Tunnel Enable
