Setting the broadcast ticker speed

Broadcasts are displayed in the Status Details section on the incidents, problems, broadcasts, tasks, and change requests details pages. You can control the speed of the broadcast message in the Status Details section.

To set the broadcast ticker speed

1. Navigate to the required path:
   • For Salesforce Classic, go to User icon > Settings > Personal > Personal Information. 

   • For Salesforce Lightning, go to User icon > My Settings > My Personal Information > Personal Information.

2. On the User <user name> page, in the Preferences section, click Edit.
3. From the Broadcast ticker speed field, select the required speed of the broadcast ticker.
4. Click Save.
