Cloning releases

If a similar release is required, you can clone a release, modify the details, and reuse the release record.

To clone a release

1. Click the Remedyforce Console tab.
2. From the View menu, select Releases.
3. From the list of releases, select the record that you want to clone.
4. From the Actions menu, select Clone.
    The New Release form is displayed, and the values of the fields in the release that you have cloned are displayed. Although the Priority~ field value shows the value from the original record, updating the Urgency or Impact field value recalculates the priority after the record is saved.
5. Revise the values as necessary for the new record.
6. Click Save.
