Changing the broadcast owner
By default, a broadcast is assigned to the user who creates it. After saving the record, you can change the broadcast owner from the Assignment Details section of the form and the list view.
To change owner of a single broadcast
You can change the owner of a single broadcast.
- Click the Remedyforce Console tab.
- From the View menu, select Broadcasts.
From the list of broadcasts, select the record that you want to assign to another user or queue.
Based on the setting configured by the system administrator, either the Owner field or Queue and Staff fields are displayed in the Assignment Details section.- In the Assignment Details section, perform the appropriate action listed in the following table:The [confluence_table-plus] macro is a standalone macro and it cannot be used inline.
- Click Save.
To change owners of multiple broadcasts
You can assign multiple broadcasts to a staff member or a queue.
- Click the Remedyforce Console tab.
- From the View menu, select Broadcasts.
- From the list of broadcasts, select check boxes for the broadcasts that you want to assign to another user or queue.
- Click Change Owner.
- In the Change Owner window, select the queue or staff member to whom you want to assign the record
