Starting the Dell KACE console

If your system administrator has imported data from Dell KACE, you can start the Dell KACE console from within BMC Remedyforce CMDB to view details of the imported records.


The toolbar button () to start the Dell KACE Console is displayed only if your system administrator has integrated BMC Remedyforce with Dell KACE. Also, the toolbar button is enabled only if you select a record that has been imported from Dell KACE. The Assembly Id field of records that are imported from Dell KACE contain the DELLKACE: prefix.

  1. Click the Remedyforce CMDB tab.
  2. From the CMDB list vew, select a record that has been imported from Dell KACE. 
  3. To start the Dell KACE console, click .
  4. In the Dell KACE Management Center page, enter your valid Dell KACE credentials.

When you open a record in the Dell KACE console, the Computer System View with consolidated data is displayed. However, when you open a Software record, only the details of the Software record are displayed.
