The following table lists the general recommendations for using BMC Helix Remedyforce.

Use single browser instance | Logging on to BMC Helix Remedyforce simultaneously from more than one instance of the same browser results in data loss if one instance of the browser is closed. |
Screen resolution | BMC recommends that you view BMC Helix Remedyforce with a minimum screen resolution of 1440x900. |
| Read Only Application Test Mode feature | Starting with the Summer '16 release, a feature called "Read Only Application Test Mode" is available for sandbox organizations that allows organizations to do their integration, UI, and functional/behavioral testing in preparation for read-only mode during maintenance events. You can enable this feature by navigating to Setup > Administer > Data Management > Read Only Application Test Mode. BMC recommends that you do not enable this setting for sandbox organizations as Remedyforce does not support this feature. You might not be able to view the Remedyforce application if you enable this setting. |
| Salesforce instance refresh | In order to prepare for organization's continued growth, Salesforce occasionally performs an activity called instance refresh. During the instance refresh activity, Salesforce migrates organizations to different data centers to provide expected performance levels to the organizations. At that time, the entire organization is marked as Read Only and no edit or inserts are allowed. Also, the Remedyforce application is not available to the user.
