Unlocking Remedyforce Value Adoption badges

Your organization can achieve badges in Remedyforce Value Adoption on gaining certain points for areas under which the scoring is calibrated.. There are two predefined badges for each area. The first badge for any area can be unlocked by scoring greater than 50% and the second badge can be unlocked by scoring greater than 90%. Note that if there are multiple administrators, all of them see the same set of scores in each area and they see the same set of badges.

After a badge is unlocked by scoring the required points, administrators can share this badge on the following social sites to celebrate the achievement and share the best practices with others:

  • BMC Communities
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook

Console Readiness badges

Console Readiness ProficientThe Console Readiness Proficient badge is awarded to  recognize  proficiency in configuring Remedyforce Console. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Activity Feed,  SmartViews , List View Customization, Smart Suggestions, Customized Layouts, and Console Dashboard. 

Console Readiness ExpertThe Console Readiness Expert badge is awarded to recognize expertise in configuring Remedyforce  Console. It signifies that a score greater than 90% has  been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Activity Feed,  SmartViews, List View Customization, Smart Suggestions, Customized Layouts, and Console Dashboard. 

Remedyforce CMDB badges

The Remedyforce CMDB Proficient badge is awarded to recognize proficiency in configuring the CMDB. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Models, Normalization Rules, Reconciliation Rules, and Configuration Item or Asset relationships.

Remedyforce CMDB ExpertThe Remedyforce CMDB Expert badge is awarded to recognize expertise in configuring the CMDB. It signifies that a score greater than 90% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Models, Normalization Rules, Reconciliation Rules, and Configuration Item or Asset relationships.   

Self Service badges

Self Service Proficient

The Self Service Proficient badge is awarded to recognize proficiency in Self Service configuration. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates and SRDs for Common Requests, Service Health Tile and custom logo for Self Service.

Self Service ExpertThe Self Service Expert badge is awarded to recognize expertise in Self Service configuration. It signifies that a score greater than 90% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates and SRDs for Common Requests, Service Health Tile and custom logo for Self Service.     

Email and Chatter Listeners badges

Email and Chatter Listeners ProficientThe Email and Chatter Listeners Proficient badge is awarded to recognize  proficiency in configuring email and Chatter functionality. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such  as enabling Chatter Listeners, enabling Email Listeners, and Email Incident Assignment.  

Email and Chatter Listeners ExpertThe Email and Chatter Listeners Expert badge is awarded to recognize expertise in configuring email and Chatter functionality. It signifies that a score greater than 90% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as enabling Chatter Listeners, enabling Email Listeners, and Email Incident Assignment.

It signifies that a score greater than 90% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates, Customized Layouts, Automated Assignment, Service Catalog, and Service Level Agreements.

Task Management badges

The Task Management Proficient badge is awarded to recognize proficiency in task management. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates, Customized Layouts, Service Request Fulfillment, and Service Level Agreements.

Task Management ExpertThe Task Management Expert badge is awarded to recognize expertise in task management. It signifies that a score greater than 90% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates, Customized Layouts, Service Request Fulfillment, and Service Level Agreements.   

Problem Management badges

The Problem Management Proficient badge is awarded to recognize proficiency in problem management. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Customized Layouts, Linked Knowledge Articles, Linked Incidents, and Service Level Agreements.

Problem Management ExpertThe Task Management Expert badge is awarded to recognize expertise in task management. It signifies that a score greater than 90% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates, Customized Layouts, Service Request Fulfillment, and Service Level Agreements.   

Change Management badges

Change Management ProficientThe Change Management Proficient badge is awarded to recognize proficiency in change management. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates, Customized Layouts, Service Outages, Collision Detection, and linking Configuration Items or Services to Changes. 


Change Management ExpertThe Change Management Expert badge is awarded to recognize expertise in change management. It signifies that a score greater than 90% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates, Customized Layouts, Service Outages, Collision Detection, and linking Configuration Items or Services to Changes. 

Release Management badges

Release Management ProficientThe Release Management Proficient badge is awarded to recognize proficiency in release management. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as Templates, Customized Layouts,  Linked Tasks, and Linked Change Requests.

Knowledge Management badges

Knowledge Management Proficient The Knowledge Management Proficient badge is awarded to recognize proficiency in knowledge management. It signifies that a score greater than 50% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as creating enough knowledge articles, publishing knowledge articles to Self Service, and creating different types of knowledge articles.     

Knowledge Management ExpertThe Knowledge Management Expert badge is awarded to recognize expertise in knowledge management. It signifies that a score greater than 90% has been achieved in leveraging product capabilities such as creating enough knowledge articles, publishing knowledge articles to Self Service, and creating different types of knowledge articles.    

Sharing badges on a social site

To share badges on BMC Communities, ensure that you register your community account with the same Email ID for both Salesforce and Community user profile.

To share badges on a social site

  1. Click the unlocked badge that you want to share.
  2. Click the icon of the social media where you want to share the badge.

  3. Enter the credentials for the social media site and sign in.
  4. Enter a message or edit the default message based on the options available for that site.
  5. Share the post.
