Configuring Change Advisory Board

The Change Advisory Board (CAB) can consist of Change Managers and technical experts who approve changes and assist in the assessment and prioritization of changes. The system administrators in BMC Remedyforce can set up CAB.

The following steps provide an overview to set up a CAB:

  • Create users by using the profile that you have cloned from the ServiceDesk Change Manager profile. For a technical expert, select a profile that suits your business requirements.
  • Create a queue and assign the required users to this queue. For more information, see Configuring queues.

Before a CAB meeting, the designated user can assign the change requests that need to be discussed in the CAB meeting to the queue. All the CAB members can access the change requests before or during the meeting.
