Alignability Process Model

The Alignability Process Model provides field-proven IT Service Management processes for BMC Helix Remedyforce. The Alignability processes are based on a combination of the best practice IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology and the Total Quality Management principle of continuous improvement. While ITIL provides the theory, the Alignability Process Model provides the processes, procedures, and detailed work instructions. By implementing the Alignability processes, service providers can shift their focus from keeping their current services up and running to improving their services.

The Alignability Process Model illustrates how ITIL processes map to work instructions performed in BMC Helix Remedyforce. The model was built to provide an easy-to-use interface for detailed information about service management processes. The four-layer structure (Model > Process > Procedure > Word Instruction) provides quick access to detailed instructions that help your staff perform their roles within the different processes. The detailed instructions are always a maximum of three clicks away from the model.

The Alignability Process Model can be accessed from the Alignability tab in BMC Helix Remedyforce and is available in the following languages:

  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Japanese
  • Spanish

Note

The Alignability Process Model is not available in the Brazilian Portuguese language. When you select the Brazilian Portuguese language, the Alignability Process Model is displayed in the English language.
