Uninstalling BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration

This topic provides information about uninstalling BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration.

Uninstalling BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration on Microsoft Windows

  1. Navigate to the installation directory. The default is C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BL2AI\8.5.00.
  2. Open the UninstallBMCBL2Atrium directory.
  3. Double-click uninstall.exe.
  4. In the Uninstall BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration page, click Next.
  5. In the BMC Atrium Integrator Details page, specify values for the following parameters:

    Parameter

    Description

    AR Server

    The name of the BMC Remedy AR System server hosting the BMC Atrium Integrator.

    AR Server Port

    The BMC Remedy AR System server port number for the BMC Atrium Integrator.

    AR Server User

    The BMC Remedy AR System server user account name for the BMC Atrium Integrator. This account must have administrator privileges.

    AR Server Password

    The BMC Remedy AR System server password for the BMC Atrium Integrator server account.

  6.  Click Next.
  7. In the BMC Atrium CMDB Information page, specify values for the parameters shown in the following table:

    Parameter

    Description

    AR Server

    The name of the BMC Remedy AR System server that is hosting BMC Atrium CMDB

    AR Server Port

    The port number for the BMC Remedy AR System server that is hosting BMC Atrium CMDB

    AR Server User

    The BMC Remedy AR System server user account name for BMC Atrium CMDB This account must have administrator privileges.

    AR Server Password

    The BMC Remedy AR System server password for the BMC Atrium CMDB account

  8. Click Next.
  9. In the Schema Uninstall for BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration page, accept the default to uninstall the schema, or select No.
  10. Click Uninstall.
  11. In the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Database Information page, selectMicrosoft SQL ServerorOracle Server, and then clickNext. If you chose Microsoft SQL Server, go to step 13. Else, skip to step 14.
  12. For a Microsoft SQL Server database, complete the following steps:
    1. In the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Database Details page, specify values for the SQL Server parameters shown in the following table:

      Parameter

      Description

      Database Hostname or IP Address

      The name or IP address of the server hosting the SQL Server database

      Database Port

      The port number of the database server hosting the SQL Server

      Database Name

      The name of the SQL Server database that contains BMC Server Automation discovered data

      Advanced Connection Options Example: Microsoft SQL Cluster Server

      The BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration installer uses this connection information for Microsoft SQL Cluster Server installations. Specify the instance name and select the check box.

      Reports DB User

      The user name of the user that has an account on the SQL Server database

      Password for DB User

      The password of the user that has an account on the SQL Server database

    2. Click Uninstall.
    3. Go to step 15.
  13. For an Oracle Server database, complete the following steps:
    1. In the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Database Details page, specify values for the Oracle parameters shown in the following table:

      Parameter

      Description

      Database Hostname or IP Address

      The name or IP address of the server hosting the Oracle database

      Database Port

      The port number of the database server hosting the Oracle database

      System ID

      The system ID associated with a specific instance of an Oracle database

      Advanced Connection Options Example: Oracle RAC installation

      The BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration installer uses this connection information for Oracle RAC installations. Specify the instance name and select the check box.

      Reports DB User

      The user name of the user that has an account on the Oracle database

      Password for DB User

      The password of the user that has an account on the Oracle database

    2. Click Uninstall.
  14. In the BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration uninstallation completed successfully page, click Done.

Uninstalling BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration on Linux

  1. Log on as root.

    Note

    Do not use sudo or any other user account.

  2. Navigate to the directory in which BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration is installed. The default installation folder is /opt/bmc/BL2AI/UninstallBMCBL2Atrium.
  3. Execute the uninstallation script:

    {{./uninstall}}
  4. Use the information in Step 4 to Step 15 of Uninstalling BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration on Microsoft Windows.
