Silent installation of BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration
When you run the installation program from the installation wizard, the installation program prompts you for the installation parameters. When you run the installation program in silent mode, you must provide these parameters in the options.txt file. This topic describes how to create an options file and run the installation silently.
Installing BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration silently
- Copy the contents of one of the following sample files depending on the database type being used by BMC Decision Support for Server Automation and the installation environment:
In these files:
-P sets the installation directory for the product. For example: -P installLocation=C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BL2AI\8.5.00.
-A indicates the products and features you want to install. This option must always be set to featureBL2Atrium.
-J indicates the installation options and their values.

- Use the following guidelines to modify the copy according to your environment:
- Each option must be on a single line.
- Values for options might contain spaces.
- Comment lines are allowed within the file (comments start with the # character).
- Navigate to the folder where the installer is located.
Run the installation program with the -i silent option as follows:

Enclose the path in double quotation marks (").
