Assessing and remediating server software compliance
Overview
IT managers want to be able to assess the level of software compliance on servers and devices throughout the data center. After they have assessed the compliance level, IT managers want the option to remediate servers that are not in compliance.
BMC Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping lets you obtain information about the current state of software applications deployed to servers. Using that information, you can use BMC Server Automation to run jobs and perform other actions to manage software configurations.
Available use cases
After you have finished all configuration tasks, you can begin to assess and remediate software compliance by executing the following child use cases:
