Installing
The installation process requires you to complete your planning activities before starting with the preparatory, installation, and post-installation tasks. The following table enables you to install the product smoothly.

An Automation Console deployment consists of two components: database and application. The TrueSight Automation Console supports PostgreSQL as the database.
You can install the database by using the executables provided on the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) site (recommended for demo or test environments), or use an existing PostgreSQL instance in your environment (recommended for production environments).

Install the Stack Manager tool. Using a single script in the Stack Manager tool, install the database first, and then the application server. | Install using one of these modes: Installing in the interactive mode – Directly provide inputs on the command line.
