Before you configure a connection

In order to connect the BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio application to an environment, the following BMC Atrium Orchestrator Platform components and an authentication product must be installed and running:

  • A supported BMC Single Sign-On authentication service
  • Repository
  • Grid Manager

You must also have created a grid.

Note

Enabling an adapter on a peer is necessary only if:

  • You intend to test processes that use adapters.
  • You build a workflow that interacts with other systems.
    In that case, enable an adapter for that system and configure it to connect with the external system.
