Using the GUI to uninstall platform server components

This topic describes how to use the GUI to uninstall BMC Atrium Orchestrator platform server components, which include the repository, CDP, AP, LAP, Operator Control Panel, Dashboard, and the graphing server.

Note

The graphing server is not supported in 7.8.02 and later releases.

To use the GUI to uninstall platform server components

  1. Navigate to the installation directory that contains the component to uninstall.

  2. Under the installation directory, access the UninstallBMCAO directory, and run one of the following programs:
    • Linux and Solaris: uninstall.sh
    • Windows: uninstall.cmd
  3. On the Welcome panel, click Next.
  4. On the Uninstallation Preview panel, review the parent component to uninstall; then click Uninstall.
  5. Navigate again to the installation directory and delete any subdirectories or files that were not deleted by the uninstallation program.

  6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for each component to uninstall.

If you still see platform server component agents in Atrium Single Sign-On after you have uninstalled the components, manually remove the agents using the following instructions.
