Before you configure a connection

In order to connect the BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio application to an environment, the following BMC Atrium Orchestrator platform components must be installed and running:

  • BMC Atrium Single Sign-On and the repository
  • Grid Manager

You must also have created a grid using Grid Manager.

Note

Enabling an adapter on a peer is necessary only if:

  • You intend to test processes that use adapters.
  • You build a workflow that interacts with other systems.
    In that case, enable an adapter for that system and configure it to connect with the external system.
