Dismount Database operation


The Dismount Database process dismounts a database in a storage group on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 mailbox server. You can run this only if the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is running.

Note

The Dismount Database operation supports Microsoft Exchange versions 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016.

The adapter request parameters may differ according to the Microsoft Exchange Server version.

The following figure shows a sample adapter request for the Dismount Database operation on Microsoft Exchange version 2016:
