BMC Atrium CMDB adapter

The BMC Atrium Orchestrator application adapter for BMC Atrium Configuration Management Database (CMDB) uses the Web Services API to to execute operations on the BMC Atrium CMDB application.

You must install the following components with the BMC Atrium CMDB application for successful interaction of the adapter with the BMC Atrium CMDB application:

• Web Services infrastructure
• Atrium Core Web Services

The BMC Atrium Orchestrator application adapter for BMC Atrium CMDB consists of an actor adapter and workflow processes to perform the standard applications actions available through the BMC Atrium CMDB API.

The actor adapter uses the BMC Atrium CMDB API to extract or manipulate data in the CMDB application. The actor adapter can perform the following tasks:

• Add one or more infrastructure elements to the BMC Atrium CMDB
• Delete one or more infrastructure elements from the BMC Atrium CMDB
• Retrieve attributes for one or more infrastructure elements
