Version 20.15.01 provides the following enhancements:
New Continuous Compliance for Servers Run Book for ServiceNow
The Continuous Compliance for Servers run book now supports the ServiceNow ITSM application. The Continuous Compliance for Servers run book integrates BMC Server Automation with ServiceNow through BMC Atrium Orchestrator and standard APIs.
As an IT administrator, the use cases involved in Continuous Compliance for Servers run book allow you to document changes, manage approvals, and automate configuration changes to the servers. The Continuous Compliance for Servers run book for ServiceNow supports the following use cases:
- Documenting operator-initiated changes:
In this scenario, an operator in the IT operations organization is using BMC Server Automation to implement changes on the data center servers. The operator creates the job, selects the Execute Now option, and specifies that the change should be approved in ServiceNow by selecting an appropriate approval type. After completing the job definition in the job wizard a change and task ticket is created automatically in ServiceNow ITSM system.
- Closed-loop compliance for servers:
This workflow involves automatically creating incidents and change requests if non-compliant servers are detected, or if deviations from a master server configuration are detected. Continuous Compliance for Server Automation integrates the remediation of discrepancies and compliance violations in BMC Server Automation to the change management processes facilitated by the ServiceNow ITSM system.

Updated ServiceNow application adapter
The ServiceNow application adapter supports the Fuji version of the ServiceNow application.
