Integrating with BMC Remedy ITSM

When you use the application adapter for BMC Remedy AR System, OA Management module workflows can interface with BMC Remedy ITSM to create and modify forms and templates and to query the following applications:

  • BMC Remedy ITSM Change Management
  • BMC Remedy ITSM Incident Management
  • BMC Remedy ITSM Problem Management
  • BMC Remedy ITSM Task Management
  • BMC Atrium CMDB Enterprise Manager

The integration between the Operations Actions Management Modules and BMC Remedy ITSM requires configuring BMC Remedy ITSM for the OA Management modules. To complete the integration:

  • Configure the OA Management module user interface mappings and database mappings in BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio, as described in Using the preconfigured integration.

Note

If you are not customizing your integration, you can test the preconfigured OA Management module/BMC Remedy ITSM integration workflows using the setup validation workflows in BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio.   • Configure a change template.
  • Configure an incident template.
