Configuring BMC Atrium Orchestrator after installing the run book


This topic describes the configurations that you need to perform after installing BMC Atrium Orchestrator adapters and modules.

After you install the Operator-initiated for BMC Remedyforce run book, you must configure the adapters and modules as described in the following table.

Adapter or module configuration

Description

BMC Remedyforce actor adapter

To configure the BMC Remedyforce actor adapter, see Configuring the BMC Remedyforce actor adapter.

BMC Remedyforce monitor adapter

To configure the BMC Remedyforce monitor adapter, see Configuring-the-BMC-Remedyforce-monitor-adapter.

BMC Server Automation adapter

To configure the BMC Server Automation adapter, see Configuring the BMC Server Automation adapter.

AutoPilot OA Task Management

To configure the AutoPilot OA Task Management module for BMC Remedyforce, see Task-Management-module-configuration-for-BMC-Remedyforce.

AutoPilot OA Change Management

To configure the AutoPilot OA Change Management module for BMC Remedyforce, see Change-Management-module-configuration-for-BMC-Remedyforce.

AO-AD-BMC_Remedyforce

Install the AO-AD-BMC_Remedyforce module.

AutoPilot-AD-Utilities

Activate the AutoPilot-AD-Utilities module.

AutoPilot-OA-Common_Utilities

Activate the AutoPilot-OA-Common_Utilities. For more information, see Common-utilities.

BMC_BladeLogic-AD-Operations_Manager

Install the BMC_BladeLogic-AD-Operations_Manager module.

BladeLogic-SA-ITSM_Integration

To configure the BladeLogic-SA-ITSM_Integration module, see Configuring the BladeLogic ITSM Integration module.

Configuring the BladeLogic ITSM Integration module

  1. Log on to the BMC Atrium Orchestrator Grid Manager.
  2. Access the adapters page by clicking the Manage tab; then click the Modules tab.
  3. In the Modules in Repository list, select the BladeLogic-SA-ITSM_Integration check box to configure the module.
  4. Click Activate to add the module to the grid.
  5. Click the BladeLogic-SA-ITSM_Integration link to configure the module.
  6. On the Edit Module Configuration page, click the element to change the configuration as per your requirement and then click Save
  7. Click the BMC_Remedyforce element to configure the module for BMC Remedyforce.
    The following table describes the elements and the configuration required for the Operator-initiated for BMC Remedyforce.
