Microsoft Exchange 2003 adapter

The BMC Atrium Orchestrator application adapter for Microsoft Exchange 2003 invokes operations on the Microsoft Exchange 2003 application by using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) and Collaboration Data Objects for Exchange Management (CDOEXM) API calls wrapped in VBScripts. This adapter must be enabled on a Windows-based system.

The actor adapter for Microsoft Exchange 2003 automates a majority of the processes for Microsoft Exchange 2003. The application adapter consists of an actor adapter only.

The actor adapter for Microsoft Exchange 2003 performs the following tasks:

• Cleans up server logs and bad mail files
• Exchanges queue operations
• Creates a mailbox
• Checks and acts upon exchange services
