Rejecting jobs pending approval

When BMC Database Automation is configured to use BMC Remedy ITSM Change Management to track and control provisioning, patching, and Action jobs, a job is approved before it is be run. At times, it may be necessary to bypass the normal Change Management process and reject a pending job. This page describes how to reject a BMC Database Automation job that is currently waiting to be approved in BMC Remedy ITSM.

To reject a job pending approval

1. In the Context Frame, select Jobs.
2. In the Jobs listing, select Pending Approval from the Status field to filter the list.
3. Click the title of the job you want to reject.
4. In the Job Summary page, click Reject.
5. In the Job Information page, review the information to confirm that this is the job that you want to reject.
6. Click Reject.
    The status of the job is changed to Approval Rejected.
